I draw steadily at my own pace. I usually work as a designer at a company, but through my illustration work, mainly for the web, I also do work such as book cover illustrations.

When and what prompted you to start working as a writer?
— I had been uploading illustrations to social media since my student days, but I think it was when my illustrations were published in ILLUSTRATION 2021 that I started drawing illustrations as a job. I changed jobs around that time, and I think that was also a trigger for me to start drawing because I had more time than before.

Do you have a theme in mind when you paint?
— I draw things that I think are nice as I go about my daily life.

As an artist, what are your goals and what would you like to do in the future?
— My goal is to keep drawing even when I’m around 90 years old.
In the future, I’d like to do cover illustrations for novels and other stories, as well as visual illustrations for events!
