I create illustrations with the themes of “retro, pop, and cute.” I like tigers, plants, and girls.
I mainly exhibit at solo and group exhibitions, and also assist with video thumbnail and packaging design.
I’m also a part-time lecturer at Kyoto University of the Arts.

When and what prompted you to start working as a writer?
— In 2021, I quit the company I joined as a new graduate, and that was the trigger for me to start working seriously, building up a track record for employment and pursuing my long-held dream of becoming an illustrator. I’m still far from my goal, but little by little, people are starting to see my drawings, and I’ve been able to get various jobs. I’ll keep working hard.

Do you have a theme in mind when you paint?
— I paint with the intention of never bringing any negative emotions from reality into my paintings and expressing only the things I love. I love expressing themes such as romance and cuteness, so I am particularly conscious of that.

As an artist, what are your goals and what would you like to do in the future?
— I would like to one day have my artwork featured in a paper publication such as a novel cover or magazine illustration in a bookstore. I would like to have my artwork displayed in a place where many people can see it, not just online, but in the real world.
